The Besen smart mobile charging station is a mobile three-phase charger with a Type 2 plug and a 6.5-metre cable. With the interchangeable plugs you charge from a red or blue CEE outlet or a regular socket. The LCD touchscreen shows the charging status, current and temperature.
How fast does it charge?
You set the current yourself, per amp, from 6 to a maximum of 32A. With a 16A plug you charge at up to 16A, with a 32A plug at up to 32A. On a 32A three-phase outlet you charge at up to 22 kW, on a blue CEE 32A outlet (single-phase) at up to 7.4 kW. Your car never charges faster than it can handle; the number plate check shows how fast your car can charge.

Frequently Asked Questions
What length do I need?
What length do I need?
The length of the Charging cable is measured from the Schuko plug to the type 2 plug. The DEFA Charging cable is 6 meters long. If you need a longer portable EV charger, we recommend the chargers from Besen and eRock which also have a 10-meter-long variant. The choice depends on the distance between your car and the outlet, as well as your personal preference.
How do I set different amperage levels?

The method of setting varies from mobile charger to mobile charger. Some models let you manually adjust the amperage via the control device, while for other models you can only adjust the charging power via a free app.
Is it safe to charge with a mobile charger?

Where is the price difference?
The price difference between mobile chargers is determined by functionality. Chargers with more features, such as an LCD screen or delayed charging, are more expensive. It is important to choose a charger that meets your needs and is suitable for your power network.
If I have an LCD screen, will charging sessions be stored and tracked?
If I have an LCD screen, will charging sessions be stored and tracked?
No, the charging data is reset after each charging session. Do you want to track how many kW you have charged in order to declare it? Then we recommend using a kWh meter in your meter box.
Can the mobile charger record kWh per hour to declare?
Can the mobile charger record kWh per hour to declare?
Our mobile chargers do not have a built-in kWh meter to declare. A solution to this is a separate kWh meter in your meter box.
Can all mobile chargers charge 16 amps?
Can all mobile chargers charge 16 amps?
Yes, our mobile chargers can charge at 16 amps, but the power your power network can handle depends on whether you have a separate group. With a single group, you may not be able to charge at full 16 amps if other household appliances are also being used.
Can I disconnect and then reconnect the plug side or the plug side?
Can I disconnect and then reconnect the plug side or the plug side?
Although customers sometimes want to do this to get the cable through the mailbox, we strongly advise against it. Unplugging and re-attaching may damage the mobile charger and is not covered by the warranty as it is considered your own risk.
