Description
Is your car parked just too far from the socket for your portable charger? This extension cable has extra-thick copper cores (3x 2.5 mm²) instead of the usual 1.5 mm². That keeps it cooler when you charge for hours.
What is it for?
For a portable charger with a regular plug (Schuko), up to 16A (3.7 kW). It is not meant for three-phase power or for a charging station.
Which length?
Choose from 5, 10, 20, 25 or 30 metres. Don’t go longer than you need: the longer the cable, the greater the voltage loss.
Using it safely
- Always unroll the cable completely, even if you only need part of it.
- Use a single extension cable: no cables in series and no power strip.
- Splash-proof (IP44): suitable for outdoors, but keep the connection dry and off the ground.
- If you’re unsure about your circuit or socket, charge at a lower setting, for example 10A.
