EROCK Next Gen Charging Cable Type 2 – 16A Three-Phase (11 kW)

The EROCK Next Gen charging cable connects your electric car to a charging station: at home, at work or at a public charging point. It has a Type 2 plug at both ends and charges on three phases at up to 11 kW.

Does it fit your car?

Most new electric cars charge on three phases at 11 kW: with this cable you get the full speed. If your car charges on a single phase, like many plug-in hybrids, the cable still works, but at no more than 3.7 kW. A single-phase cable is then lighter and cheaper. If your car can charge at 22 kW, you need a 32A cable. The number plate check shows which cable belongs with your car.

Which length?

Choose from 3, 5, 8, 10, 15 or 20 metres. At your own charging station, 5 metres is usually enough; at public stations, 8 or 10 metres is more practical. A longer cable is heavier, though: 5 metres weighs 1.8 kg, 10 metres 3.3 kg.
