Description
Description
A coiled charging cable pulls itself back together after use. It lies on the ground less, stays cleaner and you don’t have to roll it up. Stretched out, it reaches up to 4 metres. A Type 1 plug on the car side and a Type 2 plug on the station side. It charges on a single phase at up to 7.4 kW.
Does it fit your car?
Type 1 is mainly found on older electric cars and plug-in hybrids, such as the first Nissan Leaf and older Mitsubishi Outlander PHEVs. You recognise it by five pins and a locking lever on the plug. If your car charges at 3.7 kW, the 16A version is lighter and cheaper. The number plate check shows which cable belongs with your car.
Good to know
- Ideal at your own charging station, if it hangs within 4 metres of your charging flap. For public stations, a straight cable is more practical.
- A coiled cable is heavier than a straight one: this one weighs 3.25 kg.
- Protected against rain and dust (IP54).
- The plugs are white, so dirt shows sooner.
- 2-year warranty.
