Plug & Charge with fixed charging cable

Thanks to the fixed type 2 Charging cable, you save time and energy in the charging process. You no longer have to pull out your charging cable and put it away again. With the fixed charging cable, you can plug the cable into your car immediately after parking and start charging. Because the cable is attached to the Charging station, you will never lose it and suddenly find yourself at home without a charging solution either!

Higher IP protection than other charging stations

Most Charging stations have an IP certification of IP54. This is sufficient for outdoor use, but Besen likes to take it that step further. They have made the housing even more waterproof and received an IP66 certification. They made this possible by connecting a short power cable (~50 to 150cm) to the Charging station beforehand and then waterproofing the housing around it.

To connect to the meter box, this short power cable does need to be extended through a junction box with another power cable, the end of which is attached in the meter box. However, this is not a problem for the installers of our partner Charging Union!

Real-time monitoring on LCD screen

Through the convenient LCD screen, you can see at a glance the real-time data of your charging session, such as the consumption, the current charging power, the available power of the property or home, and the set maximum power for load balancing.

Additional security

The Besen charging station is secured in several ways. For example, the Charging station has integrated protection for overheating, DC leakage protection, overloading and underloading. This protects your meter box, charging station and electric car.

Dynamic load balancing

Dynamic load balancing safely distributes energy between the charging station and other household appliances in the home. This ensures that you never exceed the maximum energy consumption of your home when charging a vehicle. The Besen load-balancing system works through a host device that measures energy consumption using a CT clamp and transmits the data to the host device. Through the antennas, the energy consumption of the home or property is communicated to the charging station, which takes into account the charging power available at that time. It is easy to install through plug-and-play. All you need to do is attach the CT clamp to the cable.

EVSE App

The Besen charging station with app gives you the option to manually adjust charging power through the app, read back charging sessions and schedule charging sessions with the "delayed charging" feature. Furthermore, thanks to the app, your Besen charging station is secured and cannot be used by others who do not have access to the application.

Technical specification

A radio frequency signal of 863 MHz/928 MHz is used for communication between the charging station and the host device. You can pair up to five charging stations with a host device from Besen. The maximum distance between the charging station and the load balancing host device is 450 meters in an open area. In an area with walls, the maximum distance varies between 45 and 90 meters.
