Description

Flexible charging station for all electric cars

The Wallbox Copper Socket Business (SB) is one of the most flexible charging stations in Wallbox because of the socket. Both type 1 and type 2 loading cables fit in the socket, making it possible to charge both types of cars. This makes the Copper the best choice for environments where multiple chargers will use the charging station, such as households with different types of electric cars and business or public parking spaces.

Secure loading with RFID charging passes

The Wallbox Copper has an integrated RFID reader, with which you can load via an RFID loading pass. With such a loading pass you get quickly and safely access to your charging point without hassle with pin codes or keys. Thanks to the RFID reader you also determine which specific charging passes are accepted, allowing you to reserve the charging station for specific users. Order charging passes is possible through our partner Laadunie.

Both 1-phase and 3 phase

Whether you have a 1-phase or 3-phase electricity connection, the Copper guarantees excellent performance on both. With the Copper you therefore have a charging station that will always load your electric car optimally, based on the maximum charging capacity of your power network and what your electric car can receive.

Up to a maximum of 22 kW!

With a 3-phase connection, the Copper can load up to 22 kW (3x32 Ampère) or 11 kW (3x16 Ampère), depending on the capacity of the onboard Charger of your electric car. This determines how much power your battery can receive without it being overloaded.

To use 3 phase 22kW, you must meet these two conditions:

  1. The meter cupboard must be strengthened by your network operator to support 22 kW.

  2. The Naboard Charger of the EV must be able to receive the desired load capacity.

Dynamic Load Balancing

Dynamic Load Balancing is also called Power Boost by Wallbox. With Dynamic Load Balancing, current energy consumption is measured and the Wallbox Copper only receives the residual capacity of electricity from your network. Because the charging station only uses the residual capacity, your energy connection is never overloaded!

P1 meter or Power meter?

For Dynamic Load Balancing you need a P1 or Power meter. Load balancing via P1 meters requires that you have a smart meter at home. You connect the Wallbox and the Smart Meter via the P1 meter, which measures energy consumption in your household. For the connection you need a free P1 port in the smart meter, where the data cable goes. The biggest advantage is that the P1 meter is easier to install than the power meter.

The power meter does the same, but this meter is slightly more difficult to install than a P1 meter. The power meter is installed between meter cupboard and groups. If you load the Wallbox Installing by a certified electrician, he will take this task out of your hands.

Dynamic Power Sharing

With Dynamic Power Sharing, the Wallbox Copper distributes the available power between multiple charging stations. Thanks to this function, several connected vehicles are optimally charged.

Schedule charging sessions

With the Wallbox Copper you can schedule yourself when you want your car to be charged. By planning charging sessions, loading is easier based on your daily schedule and you benefit from lower electricity rates during off -peak hours.

Eco Smart

The Eco Smart function offers the possibility to charge your electric vehicle with the Copper via solar energy. At Eco-Smart you can also choose to load on a combination of your power connection and solar energy. This way you will always drive greener with a Wallbox charging station!

Excellent in business environments

The Wallbox Copper is excellent for business environments because of the socket, making it possible to load both type 1 and type 2 cars. Furthermore, the many extra functions make loading of multiple vehicles as efficiently as possible. You will also receive a free MyWallbox Business Account when purchasing a Wallbox Charging Station that offers more business option, such as automatic declare.

The MyWallbox App

Via WiFi, 4G Bluetooth or LAN you are always connected to your Wallbox charging station. This way you have direct insight into all loading data via the Mobile Mywallbox App and you can change charging settings.

More about the Wallbox Copper SB - Type 2 Charging Station with Socket - Up to 22 KW - Bluetooth & Wifi

About Wallbox

Wallbox is a Spanish brand and pioneer in the field of home loading for electric vehicles. The company was founded with the aim of making home loading accessible to everyone. Wallbox is known for its stylish and compact charging stations that fit seamlessly in every house. They offer advanced technologies, such as smart connectivity and energy management, to optimize your charging experience. With Wallbox you can easily and quickly charge your electric vehicle from the comfort of your home.

Dynamic Load Balancing

Dynamic Load Balancing ensures that your electric car is always optimally charged. To do this, you need a smart meter or power meter. It analyzes the current power consumption of your connection and calculates the residual capacity. It sends the residual current to the Wallbox charging station to charge your electric car. This way, the power consumption always remains within the available capacity, preventing overloading on your power connection and ensuring that the fuses will never blow!

Dynamic Power Sharing

Dynamic Power Sharing is a Wallbox feature that allows you to dynamically share available power between connected vehicles at multiple charging stations. This prevents overloading the grid and optimizes charging speeds. This is especially useful in situations where multiple vehicles are being charged simultaneously, such as in business or public parking lots. This feature comes standard with every Wallbox, making efficient charging for multiple vehicles always possible.

Always insight into charging with the myWallbox app

Thanks to the myWallbox app, you always stay connected to your Wallbox Commander 2S charging station, wherever you are. Via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and LAN, you can manage and control the charger remotely. Receive real-time updates on your charging sessions, check the status of your vehicle and adjust your charging settings according to your preferences. The app further lets you set the charging current, lock and unlock the Commander 2S, and schedule charging sessions, such as during off-peak times.

100% green charging via the Eco Smart function

The Eco Smart function offers the possibility to charge your electric vehicle via solar energy with the Pulsar Plus. To take advantage of full green charging via the Eco Smart feature, the solar panels must generate at least 6 amps (1.4 kW) more energy than needed per phase. So if you have three phases, the solar panels must generate at least 4.2 kW of excess energy. On average, you need 8 to 10 solar panels for this. You can read more about how many solar panels you need for your electric car on the website of Zonneplan. However, you can always use eco-mode. This charges the electric car with both solar energy and from your power connection.

Perfect for Business Use with myWallbox Business account

The Wallbox Copper goes beyond personal use and is also ideal for business environments. With the ability to share and manage multiple chargers, you can create an efficient charging network for your business or organization. With a Copper, you get the option to create a myWallbox Business account for free. This allows you to automatically claim charging costs, such as with your employer, or have charging costs paid by chargers when you make the Copper public.

Let your Wallbox Copper installed by certified experts

Installing a charging station, such as the Wallbox Copper, is a difficult task that is even dangerous if you do not know what you are doing. For example, it is necessary to modify and sometimes even expand the distribution board (extra group + circuit breaker), connect cabling to the charging station, put the charging station in the ground and then install it so it is ready for use.

A mistake is easily made if you have no knowledge of these things. Therefore, we always recommend having your charging station installed by a certified electrician to ensure that it is installed properly and safely. Request a custom quote without obligation from Charging UnionEV Plug Europe's partner for the installation of charging stations.
