The standard for Europe

Charging cables with Type 2 plug.

Type 2 charging cables are the standard in Europe and suitable for virtually all modern electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids. Think of brands such as Tesla, BMW, Volkswagen, Hyundai, Mercedes and Volvo.

The designation Type 2 refers to the plug on the vehicle side of the Charging cable - that is, the side you plug into your car. The other side of the cable (towards Charging station or Mobile charger) is also standard in Europe Type 2 (it is also called a Mennekes plug). So pay close attention to which connection your car has on the car side.

Our Type 2 Charging cables are available in different lengths and power ratings. You can choose between 1-phase charging (up to 7.4 kW) and 3-phase charging (up to 22 kW), depending on the capabilities of your car and charging point. The cables are UV-resistant, weatherproof and perfect for everyday use.
