Description

Plug & Charge with fixed charging cable

Thanks to the fixed type 2 charging cable you save time and energy in the charging process. After all, you no longer have to bring out your charging cable and store it again. With the fixed charging cable you can plug and load the cable into your car immediately after parking. Because the cable is attached to the charging station, you will never lose it and suddenly stand at home without charging solution!

NB: The Besen charging station is unfortunately not suitable for the Renault Zoe.

Load capacity up to 22 kW

The Besen loading station offers flexibility with loading capacities ranging from 3.7 kW to 22 kW. The app variant is available with loading capacities of 7.4 kW, 11 kW and 22 kW. For RFID is only available in 11 kW.

NB: To use 3 phase 22kW, you must meet these two conditions:

1. The meter cupboard must be adjusted to your network operator.

2. The onboard charger of the EV must be able to receive the desired load capacity.

Higher IP protection than other charging stations

Most charging stations have an IP certification of IP54. This is enough to be used outside, but Besen likes to go that step further. They have made the housing even water poet and received an IP66 certification. They made this possible by a short power cable in advance (~ 50 to 150 cm) To connect to the charging station and then make the housing around it watertight.

To connect to the meter cupboard, this short power cable must be extended via a welding box with another power cable, the end of which is attached to the meter cupboard. However, this is not a problem for the installers of our partner Laadunie!

Real Time Monitoring on LCD screen

Via the handy LCD screen you can see the real-time data of your charging session at a glance, such as consumption and current load capacity.

Extra security

The Besen charging station is secured in different ways. For example, the charging station has integrated protection for overheating, DC leak protection, overload and underload. This protects your meter cupboard, charging station and electric car.

Basic variant

The load capacity of the basic variant depends on the maximum load capacity that your electric car can handle. The load capacity cannot be adjusted. This means that you are always sure that your electric car will be charged with optimum loading speed. This variant cannot be locked.

App variant

The Besen Charging Station with App gives you the option to manually adjust the load capacity via the app, to read loading sessions and to schedule loading sessions with the "delayed loading" function. Furthermore, thanks to the app, your Besen charging station is protected and cannot be used by others who do not have access to the application.

RFID variant

The RFID variant has an integrated RFID reader, which means that drawers are only possible with a special Besen loading pass. You will receive five of these Besen charging passes with this variant. This way your charging station is protected against improper use.

Check your meter cupboard in Belgium

To connect the Besen Type 2 charging station, must there is a neutral thread in your meter cupboard. Unfortunately, this is not always the case in Belgian households. For more information and help about this, you can always contact our customer service.

Socket variant

There is also a Besen charging station without a fixed charging cable. That's the Besen Type 2 charging station with socket. Here you can plug both a type 1 and type 2 charging cable, making it also possible to charge both types of cars.

More about the Besen Type 2 Charging Station - Charging Station with 6 Meter Charging Cable

About Besen

Besen is a Chinese manufacturer of loading solutions for electric vehicles. Besen is known for its high -quality EV products with an attractive price tag. By combining quality with affordability, the company has built up a strong reputation.

An example of the excellent quality is that all EV plugs from Besen are cast instead of screwed. This makes the plug more sustainable, without being associated with high costs. Besen understands the needs of consumers and companies that are looking for cost -efficient charging infrastructure. They strive to make electric driving accessible to a wider audience by offering reliable loading solutions for an affordable price.

Basic variant

The basic variant, depending on which kW you choose, always with the maximum load capacity that the onboard charger can handle of your car. There is an onboard charger in every electric car. This system determines how much kW your car battery can receive without it being overloaded. So if you have a charging station that can load 22 kW, but your car has an onboard charger that can receive a maximum of 11 kW, the charging station will never load more than 11 kW. Because this charging station always bases the load capacity on what your car can handle, it is important that you take into account the power that your power connection delivers. If you choose a too large power to load, your connection can be overloaded and the stops will break. So with this choice always take into account whether there is enough power in the meter cupboard and choose a charging station with KW that does not go over your current capacity.

If you need help with this, contact our customer service. We understand that it can be a difficult subject and are happy to help you!

The basic variant is both CE and TUV, FCC, CSA and ROHS certified.

RFID variant

Those who want to protect a charging station often opt for the Besen charging station with an integrated RFID reader. RFID variant. With the RFID variant of the Besen Type 2 charging station, charging is only possible with one of the five Besen charging passes that are supplied at this charging station variant. In addition, the RFID variant is excellent for business use, because employers then automatically only make a charging station available to their employees. The charging passes cannot be used with public charging stations, but only Besen charging stations. Furthermore, the charging station has the same options as the basic variant.

The Besen Type 2 RFID variant has a 3-phase load capacity of 11kW and a CE certificate.

App variant (Bluetooth)

Want a secure charging station with more functions than the RFID variant? Then the app variant is your favorite choice. With the EVSEMASTER APP you can easily read loading sessions on your mobile, tablet or desktop, schedule charging sessions thanks to "postponed loading" and change the load capacity in Amps. The lowest load capacity is 6 Amps (1.4 kW) and the highest is 16 (11 kW) or 32 Amps (7.4 kW on 1 phase or 22 kW on 3 phase). A Besen Type 2 charging station with app has the most functions of all variants. With the app, loading is protected, just like the RFID, but it is also possible to read and export charging sessions. Furthermore, you can set via the app at what times you want to load and change the load capacity in Ampère conveniently and quickly. Several people can be logged in and use the app, just not at the same time.

The app variant is available with a 1-phase 7.4 kW, 3-phase 11 kW and 3-phase 22 kW load capacity. Furthermore, the App Variant CE is also certified.
